We were so lucky to receive a special visit from Andrea Carson and Rick Oudt from Tiwai over at our new Yarrow Street building last week. Rio Tinto have donated 15 respirators to our Te Waka Tuhono team for the rangatahi to use while they are doing mahi whakairo (carving). Andrea said health and safety is so important to them at Tiwai and when Joe Clarke phoned to tell her about the mahi “I thought wow we need to help them! We want to help our local community.”
