Established with a vision to support the aspirations tied to our whakapapa connection to Ōraka-Aparima Rūnaka, Ngā Kete is a not-for-profit charitable trust that has proudly served the Southern community for 25 years.
We have offices in Invercargill, Dunedin, and Bluff, and currently employ over 100 staff members. We offer a wide range of health and social services, many of which are provided at low or no cost. These services include Mental Health and Addiction Counselling, Restorative Justice, Navigational Support, He Puna Waiora Wellness Centre, Bluff Community Medical Centre (offering low-cost access to doctor services), and Stop Smoking support.
As a trusted partner in the community, Ngā Kete is dedicated to empowering whānau and enriching lives. Each day, we focus on the wellbeing of those we serve, ensuring compassion, respect, and care are at the heart of all we do. As we continue to grow and evolve, our mission remains clear: to connect people with the resources, support, and knowledge they need to thrive. Aroha ki te tangata – love for the people, always.
