South Alive School Holiday Programme

NKMP Kaimahi Nadine Young and Ra Dallas will start South Alive’s school holiday programme with Kapa Ora on Monday, which will give children of all ages the opportunity to make poi, then use their creations during waiata (singing), and also learn traditional Maori games.Korari, the Maori Public Health team at Nga Kete Matauranga Pounamu Charitable Trust, is committed to building stronger communities and whanau.Korari kaimahi Ra Dallas said sharing toi Maori is one way whanau can connect to culture. “Whanau activities enhance wellbeing. We are stronger together.”
