Ngā Kete Mātauranga Pounamu Charitable Trust is seeking an experienced Operational/Project Manager to lead the delivery of contracted projects and services across our organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to manage projects from concept through to completion. You will oversee the implementation of one-off and short-term contracts, coordinate service delivery, manage project timelines and reporting requirements, and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve negotiated outcomes.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and General Manager (GM), this role supports a range of organisational priorities, including infrastructure developments, new service implementation, quality assurance, and contract delivery.
You will be responsible for identifying and resolving challenges, supporting service delivery, facilitating reporting and compliance requirements, and ensuring projects remain aligned with organisational objectives and contractual obligations. Core QA deliverables and reporting requirements will be negotiated according to organisational and project needs.
The successful applicant will be an effective communicator, skilled problem solver, and confident decision maker who can work independently while maintaining strong relationships with partners, funders, contractors, and staff. Experience managing projects within the health, social services, or community sector is highly desirable. A full driver's licence is required.
This is a pilot role designed to strengthen the management of contracted projects and service opportunities. The initial term is 12 months, with the potential for extension based on performance and organisational opportunities. This is a full-time position (hours negotiable).
