Kōrari Māori Public Health NKMP attended the launch of SPOT (Suicide Prevention Outreach Tuatapere) at the Town & Country Club in Tuatapere on Friday evening. This rōpu was set up by a group of locals in response to whakamōmori in their community. Matt Chisolm (TVNZ presenter, author & farmer) was guest speaker and spoke about his struggles with mental health and suicidal ideation. The evening was very successful with a great turnout. Well done SPOT!
