This week, we were privileged to host representatives from Health New Zealand / Te Whatu Ora at Tūmanako Oranga Wellness Centre.
Attendees included Dr Frances Hughes – Health New Zealand/Te Whatu Ora Board Member, Karla Bergquist – National Director of Mental Health and Addictions, Health New Zealand/Te Whatu Ora, Brian Dennis - Acting Combined Services Manager Mental Health Addictions and Intellectual Disability Service, Lou Cruickshank Manager of Community Mental Health, MHAID General Manager Jodi Fata among Te Whatu Ora colleagues.
They visited our Thomson Street site to gain an overview of our service offerings and the full range of Ngā Kete services.
A significant highlight of the visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Health New Zealand / Te Whatu Ora and NKMP. This marks an important step forward in strengthening our partnership and our shared commitment to supporting the wellbeing of our communities.
We look forward to the opportunities this collaboration will bring.
