Manage My Health Update

January 5, 2026

Over the last week, Manage My Health reported and dealt with a cyber security incident that affected a small percentage of users in New Zealand.

Manage My Health has advised that the issue has been fully contained and fixed following an independent forensic review by international cyber security experts.

Manage My Health is now confirming which practices and patients in New Zealand were affected and will contact those individuals directly. If you are affected, Manage My Health will contact you.

We know this may seem alarming, but we want to assure you our primary health organisation in the South, WellSouth, is working to get us up to date information.

Manage My Health has official updates and FAQs at https://managemyhealth.co.nz/faqs-cyber-breach/

The latest statement from Manage My Health, including information about the security fixes and next steps, is available here https://managemyhealth.co.nz/mmh-cyber-breach-update-3.../

Again, if any of your information has been impacted, the Manage My Health team will contact you directly.

Patients can also log into your Manage My Health account to review what information is stored under your account, change passwords and set up two-factor authentication.
