Moko Hauora took place at the tīno Atāhua marae - Te Takutai ō Tītī in the picturesque Ōraka/ Colac Bay.
The wharenui was a hive of activity as kaiwhiwhi recieved taonga from our 3 kaitā Jay Wiremu Davis Jacob Wiremu Tautari and Renata Karena.
A massive mihi out to all who recieved moko, our kaitā and our awhi tautoko.
Special mention to Mīharo Miharo Murihiku who took over the kihini Friday,1-Sean Sean Morgan, Deli Diack, Brett Marsden and the Pennicott-Sciascia whānau for all their aroha & tautoko.
Moko Hauora brings forth taonga that is a sacred and ancient practice, and offers whānau an opportunity to reconnect to te aō māori, to delve into their whakapapa.
Kia piki te whānau - Kia piki te ora
