Service kaimahi Shahin Pera
My motivation to fulfil this role comes from a very personal place, I have seen how unhealed trauma, lack of support and disconnection can all be contributing factors for methamphetamine.
The effects are not only with the individual but their whānau and can also extend in to the wider community.
I have always been passionate about providing guidance and support where it is most needed, and this role presents an amazing opportunity to help restore the mana and strengthen the relationships within whānau, hapu and iwi and provides a holistic approach that honours Te Ao Māori values - Kaitiakitanga, manaakitanga, kotahitanga.
